Community Thrift (Bluffton) and City Thrift (Huntington) are more than just thrift shops — they’re a way to give back every day. Every dollar spent supports Community Care of Northeast Indiana as we walk alongside local families toward stability and a brighter future.

What Your Support Does:

• Sustaining Safe Spaces: Sales directly support Hannah’s House, a home offering support and structure for women in recovery, and Grace & Mercy, offering transitional housing for women and children.

   

• Providing Essential Vouchers: Local families experiencing hardship can receive vouchers to shop for clothing and household necessities at no cost.

   

• A Fun Way to Shop: Find budget-friendly items for your family while blessing others in the process.

How to Donate

Community Thrift (Bluffton)

Clothing & Small Goods: Place items in our clearly marked donation bins under the awning behind the building (available 24/7).

Furniture & Large Items: Please drop off during store hours (Mon–Fri 10am–6pm | Sat 10am–3pm).

City Thrift (Huntington)

Clothing & Small Goods: Drop off anytime in our three donation bins out front.

Furniture & Large Items: Bring items during store hours (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm | Sat 9am–3pm). Use the side entrance or front door and ring the doorbell (or give a firm knock!).

We currently accept the following items:

• • Gently Used and New Clothing, Shoes & Handbags Etc.
  • Household Small and Large Appliances
  • All Home Goods Items -Lamps, Décor, Sheets, Blankets, etc.
  • Furniture – Chairs, Kitchen Tables & Hutches, End Tables, Shelving Units, ect.

Items we are NOT currently accepting as donation:

• • Firearms, Ammunition, or Weapons of any form
  • Large or Small Entertainment Centers
  • TV’s – Older Models
  • Mattresses, Box Springs or Baby Bed Mattresses
  • Baby Car Seats
  • Old Computers, Printers, Copiers
  • Any Hazardous Materials
  • Exercise Equipment
