Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing addresses homelessness and provides a place for recovery from substance abuse and life controlling issues. From 2018 until today, our organization has provided over 20,000 daily beds for women and children.
Community Care of NEI opened the doors of Grace & Mercy in December of 2018 welcoming its first resident. Since, opening our doors we have welcomed over 80 women and 100 children who have called Grace & Mercy home. The very first woman who came to live at Grace & Mercy, completed the program becoming the first graduate; setting the course for others to follow and improve their lives.
Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing offers a safe place for women & women with children to stay, play and grow together while women press toward the goal of self-sufficiency, making healthy choices for themselves and their children. Residents that stay in our home come from substance abuse rehabilitation facilities, release from incarceration, domestic abuse situations, homelessness or those needing a fresh start. Women gain healthy life skills, participate in recovery workshops, budgeting classes, biblical studies & devotions, along with community partnerships classes while living in a safe and secure environment. Having families intact through the process of healing emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually, while obtaining employment and housing allows these families to ‘walk out of any statistic’ that tried to define their future. Grace & Mercy is a place to call home equipping families to make healthy, productive life changes for hope in new tomorrows.
God’s GRACE is always present and His MERCY meets us right where we are.
Program is 6-12 months
