Community Thrift

Community Thrift Store supports Community Care of Northeast Indiana, a non-profit organization that assists families through Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing for Women & Children alongside Rent & Utility Assistance through the Community Care’s Resource Center. We are located at 117 S Main St. and serve families needing assistance with quality items while delivering personal and household products at affordable pricing.

Store donations can be dropped off outside in our storage bins. These are located directly under an awning on the backside of our building. Simply use back alley for convenience to drop off any donations. Furniture and Appliance donations can be brought anytime during business hours – Wed, Thurs, Friday 10-5 & Saturday 10-2. We currently accept the following items:

• Gently Used and New Clothing, Shoes & Handbags Etc.
• Household Small and Large Appliances
• All Home Goods Items -Lamps, Décor, Sheets, Blankets, etc.
• Furniture – Chairs, Kitchen Tables & Hutches, End Tables, Shelving Units, Etc.

Items we are not currently accepting as donation:

• Firearms, Ammunition, or Weapons of any form
• Large or Small Entertainment Centers
• TV’s – Older Models
• Mattresses, Box Springs or Baby Bed Mattresses
• Baby Car Seats
• Old Computers, Printers, Copiers
• Any Hazardous Materials
• Exercise Equipment
