The Community Thrift Store is dedicated to supporting Community Care of Northeast Indiana, a non-profit organization making a real difference in the lives of local families. Through programs like Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing for Women & Children and Hanna’s House, a recovery home for women, Community Care provides essential support and a path towards a brighter future.

 

We are conveniently located at 117 S Main St. Our store offers a wide selection of new and gently used items to the public. Families in need of clothing or household goods can receive community vouchers to assist with their purchases.

 


 

Conveniently donate items to our store!

Drop off clothing, household goods, and more in our clearly marked storage bins located under the awning behind our building. Furniture and appliance donations are welcome during business hours: Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. For assistance or questions, please call us at 260-353-1004.

 

We currently accept the following items:

    • Gently Used and New Clothing, Shoes & Handbags Etc.
    • Household Small and Large Appliances
    • All Home Goods Items -Lamps, Décor, Sheets, Blankets, etc.
    • Furniture – Chairs, Kitchen Tables & Hutches, End Tables, Shelving Units, Etc.

 

Items we are not currently accepting as donation:

    • Firearms, Ammunition, or Weapons of any form
    • Large or Small Entertainment Centers
    • TV’s – Older Models
    • Mattresses, Box Springs or Baby Bed Mattresses
    • Baby Car Seats
    • Old Computers, Printers, Copiers
    • Any Hazardous Materials
    • Exercise Equipment
